From status quo to something better
Why do you usually work with the same subcontractors day in and day out? What makes a great subcontractor?
Sure, a fair price and reliable project delivery is a big portion of your long-term relationship. No one works with a sub who is difficult, unresponsive, unreliable, and uncooperative.
We agree. For more than 15 years, we've been building a company that's based on doing business better. In fact we are constantly focused on improving not only our quality of cabinets and countertops, but also the process of project delivery.
Doing better business isn't always making huge changes. Here are a few examples of how we're continuing to improve:
Our website has a client portal where you can track your project's process, including Requests for Information (RFIs), Submittals, Punch-lists, Scheduling etc. Clients love this one-stop-platform to know exactly the status of their project.Â
We have a policy to respond to phone calls within 24 hours, emails within 8 hours, and texts within 4 hours. With some subcontractors, you never know when they will respond, so we have established a commitment that you can rely on.Â
1. We're constantly searching for advances in materials, hardware, and details that your clients will get the most ROI. We stay current with design trends, and always enjoy talking to Architects, interior designers to share insights and ideas.Â
Some subcontractors are satisfied with the status quo. At HNL Kitchen & Bath, doing business better is part of our standard operations. We don't need to make huge changes every day, but every day is a chance to do something a little better.
